Businesses from in and around Barnsley are invited to take advantage of an opportunity to promote themselves across a series of prominent roundabouts across the Borough. The Council has recently been investing in new and improved hardware, ensuring businesses have an even larger platform from which to display their business name and chosen message.
The new hardware has already been installed on many roundabouts in the area - from Brierley all the way across to Tankersley and Stocksbridge, and planning permission is ongoing across a series of brand-new sites which should be available for commercial advertising shortly.
Sites available now include a handful of locations just off Junction 36 and 37 of the M1, reaching both residents and commuters in high volumes on a daily basis. There’s limited availability along the Dearne Valley Parkway leading to the Cortonwood Retail Park, and there’s only one opportunity left in Barnsley town centre - sites guaranteed to reach up to 650,000 residents, students and retail shoppers every month.
Your business could also be welcoming people to your town, as there will shortly be an opportunity to feature on ‘Welcome Signs’ across Barnsley. These sites are expected to be in high demand, as they are located en route to popular tourist attractions such as Cannon Hall, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Wentworth Woodhouse. Businesses are advised to register an early interest to ensure they can secure their chosen location.
We’d like to wish latest sponsor ‘Jakto’ every success with their roundabout sponsorship campaign, and we hope to be welcoming more local businesses to this successful scheme soon.
