It’s the latest addition to a revenue generation scheme developed by Craven Council to help fund reinvestment into the local community, by giving businesses the chance to sponsor signs located at focal points across the site.
There’s the possibility for businesses to see their name across the full range of media, which ranges from impressive digital screens, poolside boards and poster sites within the reception and gym areas, to the external Skatepark, Park Map and ‘Welcome to Aireville Park’ signage. The Pay & Display signs are also available to sponsor, which offer the prospect of advertising directly to the 1,200 visitors who pay and display on a weekly basis.
Aireville Park is home to Craven Leisure, Revive Café, Craven College and The Skipton Academy, also hosting the well supported weekly parkrun and Skipton Triathlon. Around 6,700 visitors attend the leisure centre every week, offering a brilliant opportunity for businesses to raise their profile while helping to support their local community. Many also regularly travel from further afield to take advantage of the newly refurbished gym and leisure facilities - the swim school alone welcomes around 900 visitors every week. And with so many facilities and activities on offer, the picturesque park is also a huge magnet for dogwalkers and families.
The Council are pleased to be able to increase the number of sponsorship opportunities available in Craven to promote local businesses, and invite any interested parties to get in touch at the earliest opportunity to register their interest in the scheme.
